Introduction

Service to others is at the heart of our life as disciples of Jesus. The mission of First Presbyterian Church is to inspire, nurture, and serve to the glory of God. In this section, you will find information on how we seek to fulfill the words of the prophet Micah that we are to "do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God."

We gather weekly for worship and study, then we go out to witness and serve as Christ's people. Sometimes our members take part in a particular service program like tutoring at George Mason Elementary School, building a Habitat for Humanity house, or taking part in a mission trip to another country. Sometimes our service is more quiet and individual. But God is honored where we learn to love our neighbors as ourselves.
