Come and visit the Library off the Commons to:- research Bible study, Sunday School lessons, or for your own knowledge
- check out books for fun reading for yourself or your family members
- spend some quiet time reading some of the subscribed periodicals or catching up on your emails through WI-FI.
- a variety of Biblical commentaries covering the whole Bible, New or Old Testament, or specific books of the Bible
- books on specific areas of faith development, personal or family issues
- books on prayer, church history, government, policy, creeds, hymns, Christian symbols, practice and worship
- books on the arts, sports, geography, and history
- biographies and recent fiction
- videos, DVD's and some cassettes on a number of Biblical or faith-based topics
- subscribed periodicals include: Alive Now, Alzheimer's Associations, Biblical Archeology Review, Presbyterian Outlook, Presbyterians Today, Weavings
- picture books to read with small children
- children's books: easy readers to read together or for the new reader to read on their own
- juvenile fiction and non-fiction: classics as well as new chapter books; non-fiction books on a variety of religious based topics
- videos and DVD's: classic Bible stories and moral-based cartoon stories
There is a card catalogue located in the Library to help you search for specific titles or subjects. Please use the sign out card in the book to record your name and the date you checked the book out and leave the card in the card holder located on the desk next to the message center. There are no specific check-out periods, but be sure to return your books when you have finished reading them so others may enjoy them as well!
