Choirs

Chancel Choir serves weekly, leading congregational hymns and offering anthems, introits, and benedictory responses in Sunday worship. Rehearsals are Wednesday nights from 7:00 – 8:45 pm.

Youth Ensemble, comprised of middle and high school singers, serves the congregation on second Sundays of each month for contemporary music and sings several times a year with the Chancel Choir for special events. Rehearsals are 4:45-5:30 pm on Sunday afternoons, with the exception of the third Sunday of each month when rehearsals are held immediately following the 11:00 am worship service.

All children are welcome to join in singing God's praises in one of four Children's Choirs, all of which practice Wednesday evenings from 6:00 - 6:45 pm.

Children's Choirs

• Angel Choir: ages 4 and 5

• Cherub Choir: kindergarten

• Carol Choir: grades 1 and 2

• Shepherd Choir: grades 3 - 5

The Youth Handbell Choir consists of members grades 4 and up; music reading experience is not required.

The Open Door Band

The Open Door Band helps lead worship every Sunday for the Open Door contemporary service.  The music ranges from contemporary versions of hymns all the way to the latest modern worship songs. 

We practice every Wednesday night from 6:45-8 PM and are always looking for singers and instrumentalists of all sorts. We'd love to have you on our team! Contact Michael Peterman for more information.
