Youth Fellowship Opportunities
FPC youth enjoy a time of fellowship from 5:30 to 7:30 each Sunday evening in a safe and welcoming environment. We play together, learn together, and grow together. The focal part of the evening is a time of devotion in which we devote ourselves to growing in faith through a relevant message for teens. Check the youth ministry calendar for current topics and themes. Each week, our fellowship concludes with a meal shared with one another.
A typical Sunday evening may start with thirty minutes of "hang time" during which youth hang out with friends and catch up on the week's happenings. They may enjoy a game of ping-pong, pool or four square, or just sit around and talk. This is followed by 30-40 minutes of devotional time in which we explore ways to grow in our faith as teenagers. We discuss issues that youth face daily and how Christ is there to help and guide us each and every day. We spend 10-15 minutes in prayer during which we encourage one another by sharing our joys and concerns. We conclude the evening by sharing a meal together.
Additional fellowship opportunities include recreational games at a local park, ice-skating, lock-ins, day trips, weekend retreats and more. Check the youth ministry calendar for upcoming fellowship opportunities.
