A letter from our Missionary Sue Makin

Stated Purpose
"Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, we commit ourselves:
To nurture our faith through prayer and Bible Study
To support the mission of the church worldwide
To work for justice and for peace, and
To build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and witness to the promise of God's kingdom."

Ministry
Presbyterian Women is an organization that enables women to get together for Bible or book discussion, service projects, luncheon programs, spiritual support, as well as fellowship and fun within our church. Our purpose is to emphasize and enjoy our Christian faith through these many activities. PW is composed of a Coordinating Council with officers, committee chairs, and circle leaders to carry out the stated purpose and goals of PW. There are seven Circles that meet monthly to provide small group study and spiritual support. Monthly luncheon programs are open to all women in our church and their guests, and frequently to the whole congregation.

Every woman who is a member of FPC is automatically a member of Presbyterian Women and will be placed in a Circle. One may change Circles at any time. A more complete explanation of PW, including the Bylaws, calendar, Council and Circle members, may be found in the PW Yearbook/ Directory, copies of which are available in the Church office.

Please join us in the myriad of opportunities for service and fellowship offered by Presbyterian Women.
