Join us on Sundays in June for the adult Summer Sizzlin' classes and special multi-age classes for children. There will be no classes offered during the months of July and August.

Sunday School is offered from 9:30-10:30 am September 9 through May 18, 2008. For the 2007-08 Sunday School year, we are offering the following:

  • The Three-Year-Old Class uses Little Lambs, a play-centered curriculum. Its main purpose is to introduce young children to Bible stories about God and his son, Jesus. The objective of these lessons is that each child will experience God's love in Jesus and begin to respond to that love as the Holy Spirit plans seeds in each heart.

  • The Pre-K Class and Kindergarten Class use the Walk With Me curriculum. This weekly program offers children opportunities to learn more about God's love for them. The children will hear the great stories of scripture, especially those about Jesus and his love for them. The objective is that the children will grow closer to God and experience what it means to be part of God's family.

  • Grades 1-5 Classes are using our new Faith Adventures workshop rotation curriculum. The same Bible story is taught in different multi-media workshops for five weeks, with the children rotating to a different one each Sunday.  Children will experience the Bible story, using storytelling, art, cooking/science, media/drama and games.  Faith Adventures allows for the reinforcing repetition of the story in multiple active media as well as for the different learning styles of our children.  Each Sunday morning, all students in Grades 1-5 meet together in Room 206 for opening activities and music.

    The Faith Adventures rotations for the 2007-08 year include the following:

    * Noah and the Flood (September 9-October 7)
    * Daniel and the Lion’s Den (October 14-November 11)
    * Shepherds and Angels (November 18-December 16)
    * Special Projects for All Ages (December 23)
    * No Sunday School for All Ages (December 30)
    * The Prodigal Son (January 6-February 3)
    * Mary and Martha (February 10-March 9)
    * Last Supper and Easter (March 16-April 13)
    * Psalm 23 (April 20-May 18)

Children also participate in music activities as part of the Sunday School hour.
